Geneve PLO - Nyon in LNA Finals, CMSG RC crowned LNB Champion

June 4-5, 2016 - The 2015-2016 National League A (LNA) semi-finals took place on Saturday June 4th and Sunday June 5th in Geneva and Nyon.

On Saturday, defending Swiss LNA Champion Geneve PLO imposed itself with 18 points to 13 over Lausannce University Club (LUC). GPLO scored 2 tries in the encounter, to LUC's 1 try.

On Sunday, Nyon beat Hermance by 33 points to 8, scoring 4 tries while HRRC scored 1.

The LNA Final will take place on Saturday, June 11th, at 15h00 at Stade de Cherpines in Plan Les Ouates.

Also on Saturday, June 4th, the last match of the LNB playoff round took place. With Neuchatel and CMSG RC (CERN) occupying the 1st and 2nd place in the pool, the last match proved an effective Final match, where the winner was to be crowned LNB champion and to gain promotion to LNA for next season.

In a tightly-contested but fair match, CMSG RC finally imposed itself 12-10 againt Neuchatel RC. Congratulations to the LNB Champions.
